Donuts don't fix

Donuts and pizza get handed out like it's supposed to fix something.

Like it erases the real problems members deal with every day.

But let's be clear:

The equipment is still unsafe.

Work is being lost.

Grievances are still sitting, unanswered.

Nothing changes.

These handouts aren't solutions — they're distractions.

A quick way to make it look like something is being done, without actually doing anything.

Members see through it.

Because appreciation isn't measured in snacks — it's measured in action.

It's measured in:

- Problems getting fixed

- Calls getting answered

- Members getting backed up when it matters

Donuts don't protect workers.

Pizza doesn't enforce the contract.

Accountability does.

And that's what's missing.
