Representation Should Be Easy to Access

When a member needs help, it shouldn't be complicated.

It shouldn't take multiple calls.

It shouldn't require knowing the right person.

It shouldn't depend on timing, luck, or persistence.

Representation should be simple, direct, and available.

That means:

- One call gets a response

- One issue gets attention

- One member gets the same effort as any other

When representation is hard to access, members stop trying.

They stop reporting issues.

They stop filing grievances.

They stop believing the union is there for them.

And that's the most dangerous thing that can happen.

Because a union only works when members trust it.

And trust is built by showing up — consistently, fairly, and without barriers.

Every member deserves easy, equal access to the representation they're already paying for.
